New registration obligation for packaging in Spain

The Spanish packaging law obliges producers to register their packaging. Distributors from abroad must also register through an authorised representative if they sell packaged products in Spain.

Update of harmonised standards for radio equipment

Effective as of 19 July 2021, the list of harmonised standards for radio equipment (RED) has been extended by implementing decision (EU) 2021/1196. In the EC Declaration of Conformity, these standards may be listed without any further technical justification or reasons.

Effective as of 19 July 2021, the list of harmonised standards for radio equipment (RED) has been extended by implementing decision (EU) 2021/1196. The decision is available for download from the EU’s Eur-Lex portal. The use of harmonised standards in the implementation of the Radio Equipment Directive leads to the presumption of conformity for the corresponding scopes of application. In the EC Declaration of Conformity, these standards may be listed without any further technical justification or reasons.
