New registration obligation for packaging in Spain

The Spanish packaging law obliges producers to register their packaging. Distributors from abroad must also register through an authorised representative if they sell packaged products in Spain.

take-e-way takes back 29,290 t of electrical appliances

Together with its partners, take-e-way GmbH has collected 29,290 t of waste electrical and electronic equipment (previous year: 26,628 t) and handed over to certified primary treatment facilities on behalf of their customers for the purpose of preparation for reuse or for feedstock recycling.

In 2021, take-e-way was again able to increase the output reports of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) reported to the EAR Foundation (German WEEE and battery registration board). Together with its partners, take-e-way GmbH has collected 29,290 t of waste electrical and electronic equipment (previous year: 26,628 t) and handed over to certified primary treatment facilities on behalf of their customers for the purpose of preparation for reuse or for feedstock recycling.
