Slovenia suspends battery reports

Sellers of batteries must register as battery producers in Slovenia.

The Slovenian Ministry of Environment suspends quantity reports for non-Slovenian companies that place batteries on the Slovenian market. The reason is the transposition into national legislation of the requirements of the EU Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542. Among other things, the Batteries Regulation provides for changes to quantity reporting. In addition, the appointment of an Authorised Representative in Slovenia will become mandatory for non-Slovenian companies. According to current information, the battery reports are expected to be put on hold for the first half of 2025.

However, registrations are not put on hold. Companies placing batteries on the Slovenian market for the first time must still register as battery producers.

If you are not yet registered as a battery producer in Slovenia, please contact us. The take-e-way consulting team will be happy to help you at +49/40/750687-0 or beratung@take-e-way.de.
