Report based on practical experience: “Numerous manufacturers and importers still label their electrical products with an RoHS logo. Since 1 January 2013, the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EC has been in force, which only permits the CE mark as an RoHS designation. All other markings are no longer permitted.”
To ensure that such actually trivial errors can be avoided and the importers or manufacturers can thus be held harmless with regard to fines imposed by market surveillance authorities or lawyers claiming injunctive relief or fines, trade-e-bility carries out e.g. marking or labelling tests for products before they are actually placed on the market.
