EU Packaging Regulation Approval

The PPWR regulation will be presented to the plenary of the EU Parliament in its second session from 22 April to 25 April in Strasbourg.

+++ Update (24/04/2024) +++ PPWR adopted by European Parliament +++

As reported by Euwid, the European Parliament's Environment Committee approved the provisional compromise on the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR) on 19 March 2024 with 63 votes in favour, nine against and three abstentions (take-e-way reported). The regulation will be presented to the plenary of the EU Parliament in its second session from 22 April to 25 April 2024 in Strasbourg.
