As ixtenso.de reported on 4 November 2021, the Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register published five new Packaging Act checklists on its website. The checklists are differentiated according to various questions and target groups and cover the following topics, amongst others:
Are you under an obligation? This list will enable you to establish whether you are subject to obligations under the Packaging Act.
What do you need to know before registering? This is where you will find key information at a glance that you should know before registering.
What happens after registration? Here you can find out what you need to do next after registering and what other obligations you need to bear in mind.
Authorising a representative. The Packaging Act applies to you in your role as a foreign online retailer, importer or as a company that delivers packaged goods to Germany from abroad. You may appoint an authorised representative to carry out your duties.
You would not like to study checklists and want professional support in meeting your obligations under the Packaging Act? The take-e-way consultants will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Please call +49/40/750687-0 or send an e-mail message to beratung@take-e-way.de.
