Attention, please remember: As take-e-way already reported, B2B devices must be marked with the symbol of the crossed-out dustbin if they are placed on the market from 1 January 2023 onwards. Up to now, only appliances that can be used in private households (appliances for which a guarantee as defined in Section 7 (1) ElektroG must be available) have had to be marked with the crossed-out dustbin icon. However, EU law requires all devices, including those from the B2B sector, to be labelled accordingly. For equipment placed on the market by 31 December 2022, however, marking with the crossed-out dustbin icon is not required, not retrospectively either.
