Eliminate GPSR errors

The General Product Safety Regulation leads to various misunderstandings among sellers and producers. Here you will find ways to clarify your important questions.

The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which has been in force since 13 December 2024, has brought significant changes for sellers and producers of products. However, there are still some misconceptions about the new regulations. Onlinehändler News reports on what the portal considers to be the 7 biggest GPSR misconceptions:

  1. The risk analysis must be sent with the product.
  2. I can simply list myself as the manufacturer.
  3. There must be warning and safety instructions for every product.
  4. I must warn against every conceivable risk.
  5. I have to disclose all my intermediaries.
  6. The GPSR does not apply to CE-mandatory products.
  7. The CE mark is a warning and safety notice.
