As the consumer research organisation Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung (GfK) reports, the energy efficiency label is an important factor in the purchasing decision for 84 per cent of respondents to a representative GfK survey of 1,000 participants.
“Even though German consumers are generally critical when it comes to environmental claims, the energy label enjoys a very high level of trust. For retailers and manufacturers, it follows that the energy efficiency label is a particularly good and effective argumentation aid for sales - also for the target group that has not yet understood the new energy efficiency classifications,” added the GfK.
Please note that all products of relevance to energy consumption covered by EU Framework Regulation 2017/1369 are required to be registered in the EPREL database.
