ElektroStoffV - EU Declaration of Conformity (standardized form)

The form proposed by VERE and take-e-way to issue an EU declaration of conformity in accordance with the new ElektroStoffV ordinance complies with the requirements of Attachment VI of the 2011/65/EU (RoHS) directive.

Dear take-e-way customers, dear members of the VERE Association,

We are pleased to inform you that we have reached an agreement with the German committee of product liability (Ausschuss Produktverantwortung – APV) of the German national consortium of waste (Bund/Länder Arbeitsgemeinschaft Abfall – LAGA).

They have agreed to our submitted draft of a standardized form of the EU Declaration of Conformity (in German). In accordance with the attached letter (in German) received from the above committees the form proposed by VERE and take-e-way complies with the requirements of attachment VI of the 2011/65/EU (RoHS) directive. Therefore, there is no doubt about using this form.

This document is needed in case you have to issue an EU declaration of conformity in accordance with the new Ordinance on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroStoffV - German conversion of the RoHS directive).

Please note that the APV/LAGA committees have agreed to our German draft of a standardized form of the EU Declaration of Conformity. Due to many requests received from our business partners, we have translated it into English to the best of our knowledge. Here you can find the English form for the EU declaration of conformity. We hope that we have assisted you.

Please do not send the filled-in form to us. This form was just made for you in case you need to issue an EU Declaration of Conformity according to the ElektroStoffV ordinance.

We will be at your disposal for any further questions on that topic under the phone number +49 / 40 / 21 90 10 - 65.

With kind regards,

Your team of take-e-way and the VERE Association
