As EUWID reports, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUV) is working on updating the legal regulations for electrical and electronic equipment and batteries. The drafts for the amendments to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) and the Batteries Act (BattG) are due to be published by the end of the first quarter.
