ElektroG: B2B registration correctly transferred in October 2018?

To be on the safe side, we recommend that you check your B2B registration thoroughly once again. Of course, you are welcome to contact take-e-way in this regard. take-e-way will then check as best we can whether the transferred registration is correct or whether there is a need for action.

You will most probably remember the last major change regarding the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (Elektrogesetz resp. German WEEE conversion) in Germany, according to which in October 2018 all trademark registrations existing at the time were transferred to a new type of device. In specific cases, this may have led to transfers to “new” types of devices that no longer cover your products in certain circumstances. So it may be possible that you have a registration to show, but it might not be correct - the worst scenario is that you could be threatened with admonitions.

To be on the safe side, take-e-way therefore recommends that you check your B2B registration thoroughly once again. Of course, you are welcome to contact take-e-way in this regard. take-e-way will then check as best they can whether the transferred registration is correct or whether there is a need for action.

If you have any questions regarding your B2B registration, please do not hesitate to contact Lydia Petasch and the take-e-way consulting team: Phone 040/750687-209 or send an e-mail message to beratung@take-e-way.de.
