Check declaration of conformity for switches and power supply devices

From 10 December 2023 the presumption of conformity for the “safety standard” EN IEC 60947-3:2009 expires. For external power supply devices for mobile phones, the “radio equipment standard” EN 301 489-34 V1.4.1. expires at the same time.

If you place low-voltage switchgear such as load switches, disconnectors or switch-disconnectors on the market, please note that from 10 December 2023 the presumption of conformity for the “safety standard” EN IEC 60947-3:2009 will expire. For external power supply devices for mobile phones, the “radio equipment standard” EN 301 489-34 V1.4.1. expires at the same time.

trade-e-bility recommends that you check the declaration of conformity or the relevant evidence for all relevant devices that are to be placed on the market in the EU from the end of December 2023 and, if necessary, update it in good time or commission retesting in accordance with the new standard.

We will be glad to advise you about solutions with which you can secure your sales success story in the field of radio devices and safety standards. Please call +49/40/75068730-0 or send an e-mail to beratung@trade-e-bility.de
